Privacy policy
How this website handles the information you send us. Last updated November 2026.
1. Who we are
This policy explains how EVTM Group ("EVTM Group", "we", "us") collects and uses personal information through this website, evtmgroup.com, and through enquiries you send us by phone, WhatsApp or email. For any question about this policy, contact us at [email protected] or +91 70300 00885.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you send a business enquiry through the website form we receive your name, business email, country, enquiry type and message, and anything you add in the optional fields: company name, phone or WhatsApp number, origin, destination, product and approximate quantity. If you call, message or email us, we receive the details you share in that conversation. We do not ask for payment card details or identity documents through this website.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the website, our hosting and network providers receive standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request. The enquiry form keeps a one way hash of your IP address and the times of your submissions for about an hour to limit spam.
3. How we use your information
- To review and reply to your enquiry, and to prepare quotations or proposals you ask for.
- To manage the business relationship that follows, including the coordination of shipments, documents and storage.
- To keep the website and the enquiry form secure and to prevent spam and misuse.
- To meet legal, tax, customs and record keeping obligations that apply to our business.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for marketing mailings.
4. Legal basis
Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on: taking steps you ask for before entering into a contract, and performing that contract; our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and running a secure website; compliance with legal obligations; and your consent, which you give when you tick the consent box on the enquiry form and can withdraw at any time.
5. How enquiries are handled and stored
The website's server emails your enquiry to our team at [email protected] and saves a text copy on our hosting account, in a folder that is not reachable from the web, so that an enquiry is not lost if the email fails.
6. Who we share it with
- EVTM Group team members and offices who need it to handle your enquiry.
- Service providers that run the website and our email, such as our hosting provider and Cloudflare, which delivers and protects the website.
- Carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, warehouse operators and other logistics partners, only where needed to carry out a shipment or service you have asked for.
- Authorities or advisers where the law requires it or to protect our legal rights.
7. International transfers
EVTM Group has offices in several countries, and our service providers may process data in other countries. Your information may therefore be accessed or stored outside the country where you live. We share it only as described in this policy and take reasonable steps to keep it protected.
8. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for as long as we need them to handle the enquiry and any business that follows, and for as long as legal, tax or customs record keeping rules require. Records that are no longer needed are deleted by our team. You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time.
9. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information, including an encrypted (HTTPS) connection to the website, a saved enquiry copy kept outside the public website folder, and spam protection on the form. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your rights
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, ask us to delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, receive a copy of it, and withdraw your consent. To make a request, contact us using the details above. You may also complain to the data protection authority in your country.
11. Cookies and browser storage
This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies. It stores two small items in your own browser: your menu style, only if you switch it, and a note used for the page transition between pages. Our hosting and network providers may set technical cookies that are needed to deliver and secure the site.
12. Third party services and links
The website loads content from Google Maps (office maps), Google Fonts and the jsDelivr network (fonts and code libraries). These providers receive basic technical information when your browser loads their content and handle it under their own privacy policies. WhatsApp links open WhatsApp, which is governed by its own privacy policy.
13. Children
This website is intended for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our website or practices change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
